Hi there! I'm AceTiff12, or just Tiff for short. I found this place through a Sonic Boom Discord server.
I didn't pay much attention to Sonic Boom until the cartoon's second season aired. Then I gave it a chance and took a shine to it. It's a shame a third season isn't in the works.
I'm an introverted casual gamer girl who likes animals and various fandoms of the videogame and animated show variety.
Welp I'm Rrad. I've been into Sonic since I was 3. I'm mostly into the Adventure Era but I still find some nostalgic feelings in the "Dark Age", as most of you would call it.
I'm not really into Sonic as much nowadays but I hope this place'll help me connect with folk and maybe get me back into loving this blue spiky guy
Hello there friends, my name's Misty. I grew up on Sonic, and took a strong connection to it through my writing. I had gotten really close to one character in particular, that being Eggman, however, I wrote him very differently than he was portrayed in the games and comics. When Sonic Boom came out, I feel very much in love with it, as it came out at a really good time in my life. I was struggling mentally with school, and I had stopped writing because of depression, so the show really brightened my mood. Not to mention that Eggman's characteristics were almost identical to how I wrote him when I was younger, so I super attached to him and haven't really let go since. He has become my favorite Sonic Character, along with my favorite character of all time.
Since then, I am no longer in school, and my depression isn't as bad. And I am in the process of writing a series in the Boom Universe, titled Sonic Barrage, over on Archive of Our Own. I, sadly, only have one "episode" posted so far, but I plan on releasing more in the near future. Although, it isn't completely as light hearted and silly as the show was, I am trying to keep the elements that made Boom lovable (at least to me) mixed into it. Just...bring some tissues. X3
Other than Boom, I also have a fondness for Underground, as it contains my two favorite henchmen (the two Canines, Sleet and Dingo), and have recently fallen head over heels for the IDW Sonic Comics, my favorite from there being Dr. Starline. And non-Sonic related things I spend my whole life loving is Pokemon, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Undertale, to name a few things.
I will start! I was orginally a Crash Bandicoot guy, and Sonic's attitude didnt really appeal to me! Sadly, Or fortunately depending on your perspective, Crash disappeared after 2008's Mind over Mutant, and I had to go find another franchise!
I first tried Mario, but he played it a bit too save for my liking after Super Mario 64 DS.. But when I got one of those olympic games, Tails was very adorable on the cover, and I figured: "What if Sonic isnt that bad?".
So I tried Sonic Adventure, and then Sonic Generations.. It was just before Lost World came out (commercials were everywhere on youtube). But these games also didnt appeal to me and I forgot about it..
Untill Sonic Boom came out! It felt very similair to the Titans Crash games to me, and I was quickly invested! I started to like the Sonic elements in it as well, and quickly grew to like the Mainline Series a little better as well!
Years later and Im still in the community! Even if Sonic is slightly less fun without Sonic Boom!
